Step By Step Montessori Schools of Wayzata
I began my career in Early Childhood Education roughly 12 years ago at this very school. It holds an incredibly special place in my heart. I am beyond excited to be back where for me, it all began. I am a MN native, but I spent a few years in Iowa while obtaining my degree in Child Psychology and Child Services from Iowa State University. From there I moved home and have been in the industry ever since. I have held positions as an Assistant Teacher, Lead Teacher, Assistant Director, School Leader and most recently an Area Manager in the industry of Early Childhood. Now that my son Archie is growing (all too quickly), I knew it was the right time to find a school that is committed to supporting his physical, mental and emotional growth.
The Montessori Philosophy has many nuances that directly reflect my own personal philosophies in regards to Early Childhood Education. Therefore, jumping back into a program such as ours has been beyond rewarding not only for me, but for my family as well.
It is my mission to be a positive impact on our children, daily. As a mother and wife, I fully understand the thought that goes into choosing a quality childcare program. Each day, I look forward to partnering with all of our families and providing them the quality they expect and the quality their children deserve.
