Endeavor Schools Opens New Campus Set to Spur Growth in Portland Community

Endeavor Schools, a national leader in education management, announced the grand opening of The Children’s Garden Field Office campus in Portland, Oregon. Serving families in the Portland community through its downtown location for more than 30 years, The Children’s Garden provides exceptional childcare with a loving and personal touch to children from infancy through kindergarten.

The new Field Office campus, conveniently located in the bustling area between Portland’s Frontside District and the chic Pearl District, fills an urgent need to offer quality educational programs for children in this area of rapid growth. The Children’s Garden is the first educational facility within the highly-anticipated Field Office mixed-use development, featuring thousands of square feet of rentable office and retail space.

“We are thrilled to open The Children’s Garden in the groundbreaking Field Office development. This innovative new campus allows us to reach more families in the community seeking an extraordinary educational experience,” said Danielle Millman, Executive Vice President of Endeavor Schools. “We set our sights on providing a convenient location for parents who work in the city. With direct access to the Central Business District, the Field Office Campus is the ideal school choice for working parents who want high-quality education while keeping their children close by.”

The Field Office campus opened its doors for the first time on May 1, featuring safe and engaging learning environments capable of serving 154 families. The new campus also brings 35 jobs to the region, consisting of highly experienced educators with a holistic approach that helps each child blossom.

Known for being Portland’s most loved and adored early learning community, The Children’s Garden uses the evidence-based technique of mindfulness to help children regulate their emotions and practice peaceful problem-solving. At The Children’s Garden, teachers follow an integrative approach to child development that draws on researched and supported methods of fostering growth and self-esteem.

“We’re excited to expand into our newest location, allowing us to serve more families within this thriving community,” said Tessa Stephenson, Regional Director of Operations. “Our Field Office location, nestled in the heart of the Frontside/Pearl District, will offer the same exceptional programming that Portland families have come to expect from The Children’s Garden. We offer a whole-child, supportive approach to child development, incorporating elements of the esteemed educational approaches of RIE, Reggio, Montessori, and Mindfulness.”

The entire community is invited to the Grand Opening Celebration which will be held on Saturday, May 12 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m., featuring local art installations, music by Red Yarn and Mo Philips, and more. The Children’s Garden is now enrolling children ages 6 weeks to 5 years.
